Bret A Pernell

Bret Alan Pernell, 60, of 120 Washington Dr Campobello, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at his residence.

Bret was born in Parris Island, South Carolina on October 12, 1965, a son of the late Norma Beatrice Hamel Pernell and James Franklin Pernell. He was the husband of Mitzi Brennon.

He was employed as a truck driver at Blue Ridge Log Cabins

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son; Shawn Pernell of Campobello, and his grandchildren; Ava Brennon, Noah Pernell, Mira Pernell, Amelia Pernell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 9th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society/Ovarian Cancer Research, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
