Brenda Sue Wingo, 67, of 281 West Avenue, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Brenda was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on November 24, 1953, a daughter of the late Oma Wingo and Jessie West Wingo. She was a retired employee of CVS Pharmacies Warehouse and of the Baptist faith.
Brenda is survived by a daughter, Wendy Keller Holcombe, of Guymon, Oklahoma; one grandson, Alexander Holcombe of Union, South Carolina; four sisters, Barbara Fowler, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Nancy Morgan, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Carolyn Fowler, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Margaret Lyles, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; two brothers, Bob Wingo, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Ed Wingo, of Greer, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wingo was predeceased by a brother, Doug Wingo.Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Spartanburg, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Tim Lyda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, South Carolina, 29303. The families are at their respective homes.
