Inman, SC---Brenda Kaye Maxwell Settle, 72, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Pacifica Senior Living in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on July 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lee "Tommy" Maxwell and Evelyn Miriam Metcalf Maxwell. She was the wife of the late Mr. Rufus Woodrow "Woody" Settle II.

She was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she served in the Fidelis Matrons Sunday School Class and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Tallulah Chapter. Mrs. Settle worked as a teachers assistant at Fairforest Middle School for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick Settle and wife Mary Helen, of Inman, South Carolina and Christopher Settle of Inman, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Mary Quinn Settle; one sister, Gail Tate and husband Wayne and one brother, Ricky Maxwell and his wife Cathy.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by twin sons, Raymond Benjamin Settle and Jonathan Alan Settle and one aunt, Willie Maxwell.

Graveside Services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina at 3:30 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
