Brenda Hall Prieto, 75, of 110 Summit Hills Drive, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Summit Hills Assisted Living Community.
Brenda was born in Gramling, SC on June 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Edisto Eva (Phillips) Hall and Joe Dudley Hall.
She was the widow of Humberto "Bert" Prieto, retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church in Inman.
Brenda is survived by a daughter, Paula Smith (Doug), of Inman, a son, Tad Varner (Angela), of Spartanburg; stepson, Andrew Prieto (Rachel), of Pine Hurst, NC, 2 grandchildren Clay Smith (Jordan) of Chattanooga, TN, Taylor Smith of Inman, 2 step grandchildren, Hugh and Gabriel Prieto.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 13th at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 13th at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Blackwelder officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Landrum, SC.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Spartanburg Shares, 137 South Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 2300 Runion Road, Inman, SC.
