Brenda Henderson Gowan

Brenda Henderson Gowan, 83, of  Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 11, 1939, a daughter of the late Nettie Ann (Ridings) Lowe and Leonard Talmadge Lowe.

She was first married to the late Cecil Moody Henderson and was the wife of the late Clifford  C. Gowan.

Brenda retired from Dollar General, and was a member of Fingerville First Baptist Church. 

She is survived by two sons, Tim Henderson and Mitch Henderson and his wife Lori; one sister, Pat Ballenger and three grandchildren, Trent Henderson, Will Henderson and Blake Henderson.

She was also predeceased by two sisters, Martha Putnam and Donna Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Fingerville First Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the church, with Rev. Andy Case officiating. Burial will be in Fingerville First Baptist Church Cemetery.
