Brenda Kay Ivey Brown, 71, of 111 Elberta Street, Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Brenda was born in Union, SC on September 5, 1942, a daughter of the late William Monroe and Margaret Woodrow (Wilson) Ivey. She was the wife of Rev. Will Rogers Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Gramling United Methodist Church. Brenda is survived by two daughters, Teresa Fowler (Dr. Brian Fowler), of Spartanburg; Beth Breazeale (Jeff), of Lyman; a sister, Dianne Carter (Dennis), of Union, four grandchildren, Olivia Ivey Fowler, Zane Thomas Fowler, Zackary Bates Breazeale and David Maddox Breazeale.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral services will be held at Gramling United Methodist Church in Gramling, SC, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 27th, with Rev. Ben Herlong, Rev. Eddie Usher and Rev. Ron Pettit officiating. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens in Union, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epworth Children's Home, 2900 Millwood Ave, Columbia, 29205.
