Boyce Earl Wilson, 87, of 108 Pineview Drive Inman, passed away Monday, January 28th, at his home.
Earl was born in Spartanburg County on December 23, 1931, a son of the late Geneva Wilson Sawyer and Fred M Wilson. He was the husband of Kathleen Johnson Wilson of the home.
He retired from Draper Corporation and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he had been active in missions, cooking meals, and senior trips. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of Inman Lion's Club for many years.
In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by two daughters; Sharon Keeling and her husband Allen, and Rhonda Boggs of Oviedo, FL, three step daughters; Judi Atkins and her husband, Bobby of Inman, Kathy Ashley of Tryon, NC, Patricia Perito and her husband Joseph of Anderson, SC, a sister; Shirley Edge of Lyman; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2nd at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends following the funeral service Saturday at Seawright Funeral Home. Private entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Inman.
