Bonnie Mathis, 86, Campobello, SC, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Bonnie was born in Polk County, NC on August 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Eva (Taylor) Honeycutt and Monroe Honeycutt.
She was married to the love of her life, Garland Mathis for 66 years before his passing away in October, 2021. Bonnie was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her two daughters, Anna Tucker, and Cynthia Large; and her two granddaughters, Jessica Pitts (Adam), and Amanda Raines; she is also survived by six great grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
She was retired as a Lab Tech at John H. Montgomery Mill and a member at New Prospect Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022, funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church, Inman, SC with Rev Matthew Bishop and Rev. Joe White officiating.
Burial will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
