Bobby Ray Vaughn

Bobby Ray Vaughn, 79, of 63 Blackstock Road, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. Bobby was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 9, 1938, a son of the late Landrum Earl Vaughn Sr. and Mattie Gertrude McAbee Vaughn. He was predeceased by his wife Annie Pennington Vaughn. Bobby was a retired Lab Technician from Camp Haven Nursing Home and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by a sister, Loretta V. Rogers of Inman, South Carolina; two brothers, Joe Vaughn and his wife, Judy of Inman, South Carolina; Jerry C. Vaughn and his wife, Judy of Greenville, South Carolina; special nieces and nephews, Wanda Wehunt, Angela Jones, Kellie V. Foster, Amanda Leonardi, Joanna Vaughn, Roger Fisher, Hollis Cantrell, Terry Cantrell, Matt Rogers, Dorothy Hembree, Patricia Martin, Sue Maxwell, Jan Eplee, David Farmer, Kenny Dale Farmer, Dan Collins, Don Collins, Ray Collins,Jr.; ten great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Bobby was predeceased by four sisters, Betty V. Fisher, Mavis V. Cantrell, Thelma V. Farmer, Ada V. Collins and four brothers, Defoy Vaughn, Landrum E. Vaughn, Jr., Elmer Vaughn and Earl Vaughn.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 10, 2017, at Seawright Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Beryl Wyatt. A visitation will immediately follow the service at Seawright Funeral Home.
