Bobby Gerald Teague, Sr.
Bobby Gerald Teague, Sr.,79, of 13 "G" Street passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Teague was born in Inman, S.C. on April 30, 1934, a son of the late Lillie (Henderson) and Monroe David Teague. He was the loving husband of Earlene (Gregory) Teague. He was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, Inman Masonic Lodge # 201, and was an Army veteran. He worked for Inman Mills for over 33 years and Spartanburg School District #1 for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Inman High School. Bobby enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing and working in his yard.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Gerald Teague, Jr. (Johanna Fagan Teague) , Gary Teague, a brother, David Teague and a sister Sylvia Babb all of Inman. There are seven grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda, Cayla, Chelsea, Courtney, Caleb, Zachary Teague and two great grandchildren, Eli Smith and Aiden Teague. Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Teague and two sisters, Ethel Cothran and Shirley DeYoung. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel,at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 24th, with Rev. Jack Hames and Rev. Harold King officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Mausoleum with Masonic Rites. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Mills Baptist Church, 22 B St, Inman, SC 29349.
