William "Bobby" Revan, 60, of 889 Ravan Dr. died Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Revan was born on November 12, 1950 the son of the late William Ellis and Marion Rachel (Brannon) Revan. He is survived by his wife Linda Ann (Campbell) Revan. He was a member of the Restoration Pentecostal Holiness Church in Landrum and was the owner/operator of R & R Carpets. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Other survivors include two sons, Robby Ravan , Ryan Revan and a daughter, Shirrel Burgess all of Landrum, a stepson Lee Grant of Maryland, and a step- daughter, Kelly Morris of Pauline, two sisters Mary Ward of Inman, Cindy Wittman of Lavonia, Ga. and a brother, Jimmy Revan of Inman. There are thirteen grandchildren.
A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Dependent Baptist Church in Inman conducted by Rev. Joe Geddes. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Dependent Baptist Church School, P. O. Box 934, Inman, SC 29349 or to the Bobby Revan Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 192, Inman, SC 29349. The family will be at their respective homes.
