Bobby W. Kitchens, Sr., (Pops) of Campobello, SC went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2014 peacefully at his home. Bobby was born on April 15, 1953 in Clinton, SC the son of the late Frances Armenta Hedgepath Kitchens and Bobby John Kitchens. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in the Vietnam War. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 41 years, Maria E. Kitchens, his 3 children, a son and daughter in law, Bobby Jr. and Marcie Kitchens of Campobello, SC, a daughter and son in law, Melissa and Mauricio Molina of Campobello and a son and daughter in law, James and Courtney Kitchens of Greer, SC. Pops had 4 grandchildren, Daniel L. Kitchens-Molina, Christopher J. Kitchens, Brandon T. Kitchens and Skylar P. Kitchens. He also leaves behind a brother and sister in law, Joseph "Pete" and Brenda Kitchens of Joanna, SC, a sister in law, Miriam Peterson of California. He had 2 nephews Michael Kitchens and Frank Ballenger and 1 niece Priscilla Reveles. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC. The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
