Mr. Bobby Lee Gilbert, Jr.
Mr. Bobby Lee Gilbert, Jr., 54 of 10220 Franklin Street, Fingerville, SC passed away to be with the Lord Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Gilbert was born in Charleston, SC on January 9, 1954, the son of the late Bobby Lee Gilbert, Sr. and Gertrude Faye (West) Gilbert who survives him of Inman. He was the husband of Margaret Elaine (Walker) Gilbert for 35 years.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two daughters: Lisa Davis and husband Kevin of Wellford, Michelle Smith and husband Buddy of Campobello, one brother: Eddie Gilbert and wife Denise of
Inman, six grandchildren: Victoria Marie Smith, Austin Lee Smith, Lana Michelle Davis, Johnathan Wayne Smith, David Lee Smith, and Amanda Mae Smith. He was predeceased by a brother: Donnie Gilbert.
He retired from Ideal Fuel, was of the Baptist Faith, a musician for 42 years, a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201, a Shriner and a former reserve police officer.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Monday May 26th, with Dwayne Pruitt officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday 5-7 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.
