Bobby Wayne Cardwell, 84, of Moore, SC. Bobby was born in Bristol, VA, Washington County, on April 6, 1940, to the late Reva (Harlass) and Willard Cardwell. Bobby was married to Judy Messer Cardwell, who was born in Siler City, NC, for 50 plus years.
He is survived by a brother, Jeffrey Cardwell; a stepson, Michael E. Stone; two grandsons, Michael E. Stone Jr. and Patrick E. Stone. He is predeceased by three brothers, Eugene, Jimmy, and Billy Cardwell.
Bob was a member of State Street Methodist Church in Bristol, VA, and served in the National Guard of Virginia for 6 years during Vietnam.
Bob retired from Sears after 33 years of service, then Trail Cabinets for 6 years. Bob was manager of Tab's Flea Market, in Greer, SC for 20 years. While at Tab's Bob and Rev. Paul White, organized Tab's Flea Market Chapel, so shoppers at the flea market could attend church. Bob was a fan of gospel music as well as country music, he personally knew lots of gospel singers and country stars, who would perform at charity events that Bob organized. Bob also was the director of 3 senior golf leagues, Upstate Golf, Piedmont Golf and Tri-County Senior Golf.
Bobby Wayne Cardwell an all-around nice person always stayed busy helping someone in need, always smiling and in a good mood. five years ago on November 17, 2019, he had a massive stroke, he fought the battle of life until September 20, 2024, when God took him home to see his mother once again.
