Mr. Bobby Jim Burnett, 73, of 295 East Pearl Street Spartanburg died Friday, September 7th, 2007 at White Oak Manor in Spartanburg.
Mr. Burnett was born in Spartanburg, SC on March 4, 1934, the son of the late Jesse and Myrtle (West) Burnett and was the widower of Mary Inez (Gregg) Burnett.
He is survived by one son: B. Randall Burnett of Union, KY, one daughter: Rena Amanda Bressler of Houston, TX, one granddaughter: Barbie Hipp of Austin, TX, one grandson: Brian Burnett of Trinity, NC, two brothers: Rev. John Bill Burnett of Covington, GA, Wayne Burnett of Wellford, SC, and one sister: Freida B. Wall of Boiling Springs, SC.
He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a 5 time Ford Motor Company Salesman of the Year, a past Nascar member and a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, at 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 10th.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday 11-12 AM at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
