Mrs. Blanche Sarah Godfrey, 95, of 59 Blackstock Rd. died Saturday, April 26th, 2008 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Mrs. Godfrey was born in Spartanburg County on February 26, 1913. She was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Etoile Fowler Lowe and was the widow of John T. Godfrey. She was a member of Oneal Baptist Church in Greer and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Ray Godfrey of Inman, a sister, Louise Shipman of Inman, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert Joe Godfrey and John Toy Godfrey.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Wayne Davis. The family is at the home of Martha Keller at 164 Victor Avenue Ext. and will receive friends today, Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Seawright Funeral Home from 3:00 until 5:00pm.
