Billy Ray Vinson

Billy Ray Vinson, 79, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023.  

Born in Union, South Carolina on December 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Loye H. Vinson and Roselle G. Vinson, and was the husband of Sandra Jean High Vinson.  

Mr. Vinson served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, retired from Hoechst Celanese, and was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Missy Koon and her husband Randy; three grandchildren, Lindsey Bridges and her husband Jeff;  Logan Whitesides and her husband Jake, and Bailee Koon; five great grandchildren, Charlie McCoy, Adlee Huffman, Kylie Bridges, Jayden Bridges and Maci Bridges.   

He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 2:00-2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Christopher Greene officiating.
