Billy Joe Stevens

Greenville, SC--- Billy Joe Stevens, 43, of 741 Woodruff Road passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Lubbock, Texas on June 5, 1976, he was a son of the late William Jack Stevens and Sherry Ann (Sterling) Elgin and step-son of Andrew B. Breslow. Billy was a die hard Washington Redskin fan and worked as a bartender at Lieu's Chinese Bistro and also at Otto Izakaya, both in Greenville, South Carolina. In addition to his mother and step-father, he is also survived by one brother, James C. Dodson and his wife Elizabeth of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Alexandra M. Elgin of Inman, South Carolina and Victoria L. Elgin of Columbia, South Carolina. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 10:00 - 10:45 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. Burial will be in the North Pacolet Baptist Church Cemetery in Campobello, South Carolina.
