Spartanburg---Billy Hall, 78, of South Carolina, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012.
Born in Troy, NC on May 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Saddie (Haithcock) and Bradley Lee Hall and was the husband of Joyce (Boone) Hall.
Mr. Hall worked as a Tractor Trailer Driver for Merita Bakeries and attended Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Campobello, SC. Bill loved Nascar Racing with his favorite driver being the late Dale Earnhart, Sr., was an avid fisherman, enjoyed doing ceramics and loved his dogs.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Ken Hall of Unionville, NC and a daughter, Cindy Sherrill of Lake Wylie, SC along with four grandchildren, Justin Hall, Tanner Hall, Chad Sherrill and Brad Sherill and one great grandchild on the way.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 1-2PM at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Campobello, SC. A celebration of life service will immediately follow in the church at 2PM with Rev. Michael Owenby officiating.
