Mr. Billy Joe Burrell, 58, of 20 D Street Inman, died Wednesday, December 24th, 2008 at Oteen VA Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Mr. Burrell was born in Asheville, NC on September 13, 1950, the son of the late Carl Warren Burrell and Leona McQueen Collins who survives him of the home.
He had worked at Inman Saybrook Plant and was a Baptist.
He was a US Army veteran. In addition to his mother, other survivors include a son, Jeff Burrell and his wife Katie of Spartanburg, two sisters, Jeanette Phillips of Campobello, Diane Owens of Inman, and a grandson, Jeffrey Burrell.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2008 5:00-7:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 11:OOam on Saturday, December 27th, conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
