 Billy Joe Abernathy, 62, of Inman, SC, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at his residence. 

Billy was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 19, 1961, a son of Betty Jane (Lee) Abernathy and the late Billy James Abernathy.

He was the husband of Regina (Bradley) Abernathy and was employed at Waldrop Heating & Air for 38 years.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by a daughter, Amanda Abernathy, a son, Phillip Abernathy (Jennifer), a brother, James Abernathy (Shirlene), three grandchildren, Madison Abernathy (Miguel), Hudson Abernathy, Khloe Abernathy and one great grandchild, Omaira Faison. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Abernathy.

The family is at the home and will receive friends, Friday, June 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Seawright Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating.
