Spartanburg, SC---Mr. Clifford T. (Bill) Williamson, 96, of 400 Locust Grove Road went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6th, 2011. Born in Wakefield, MA on June 21, 1915, he was the son of the late John and Bertha Christine Williamson and was the husband of the late Mrs. Clare Sirings Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a Veteran of the United States Air force having served during WWII and retired from Flying Tiger Airlines were he was the manager of crew control. He is survived by his daughter, Dee Revels and her husband Roger of Inman along with three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2 PM until 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00PM following the visitation with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Freewill Baptist Church Mission Fund, 90 Blackstock Rd Inman, SC 29349. The family will be at their respective homes.
