Beulah Bush Wortman, 76, of 116 Heritage Estates St., Landrum, SC, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum after a brief illness. Beulah was born in Polk County, NC on March 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Janie Belle (Edwards) Bush. She was the widow of Marvin Gary Wortman and was retired from South Carolina Elastic. Survivors include three daughters, Donna R Semmel and husband Gary of Rutherfordton, NC, Melissa R Mills, of Landrum; Lorie R Jenkins, of Landrum; a son,Terry Lee Ramsey, of Greer; a brother, James Bush, of Landrum, four grandchildren, Jessica Mills, Jordan Jenkins, Taylor Jenkins and Easton Jenkins. She was predeceased by a son, Roger Eugene Ramsey. There will be a private service for family members only and the family request that you honor their wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
