Betty Jo Penland Reynolds, 84, formerly of 281 Reynolds Road, Inman, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Autumn Care Nursing Facility in Raeford, North Carolina. Betty was born in Laurens County, South Carolina, on January 11, 1933, a daughter of the late Ernest Paul Penland and Claudia Williams Penland. She was the widow of Mancil Ezell Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds was a former member of Little Mountain Baptist Church and a homemaker. Betty is survived by three daughters, Deborah Reynolds Hill, of Greer, South Carolina; Joy Reynolds Workman and her husband, Barry of Campobello, South Carolina; Donna Reynolds Basurto and her husband, Isidoro of Raeford, North Carolina; a son, Rickey Reynolds and his wife, Connie of Flat Rock, North Carolina; a brother, Paul Edward Reynolds and his wife, Frances of Fairforest, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren : Tina Reynolds Hill, Adam Reynolds, Cynthia Reynolds Lanning, Marc Reynolds, Mary Reynolds Garren, Joi Reynolds Higbee, Lisa Hill, Benjamin C. Workman, Jennifer Basurto, Jay Basurto, Johnathon Basurto. and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Reynolds was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kim Hill; a great-grandson, Asher Reynolds; a sister, Pauline Hadden; two brothers, J.L. Penland and Troy Penland. Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2017, from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. at Little Mountain Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at Little Mountain Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2017, conducted by Rev. Marc Reynolds and Rev. Doug Godfrey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
