Betty Bell Parris, 86, of 29 Canaday Street Inman, passed away Thursday, February 4th, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.
Betty was born in Inman, on March 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Floride Price Bell and Price "Winnie" Bell. She was the widow of Howard Lee Parris and was retired from Thomas and Betts in Inman.
Survivors include a daughter; Charmayne P. Eichman and her husband, Jay from Huntersville, NC, a son; Dale Parris and his wife, Sandra of Greer; three special sister in laws; Brenda Bell of Lyman, Joyce Parris of Spartanburg, Betty Bell of Bonneau, SC, a special sister, Gaile Simmons of Fayetteville, NC, a special brother, Gene Horton of Lyman; six grandchildren, Kacie Mobley, Adam Burrell, Luke Burrell, Jessica Eichman, Bryon Gwinn, Shana Brewer; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a son, Howard Lee Parris, Jr; five brothers; Kenneth Bell, Randy Bell, Duran Bell, Jimmy Bell, Mack Bell, and three sisters; Mary McBride, Dean Mathis, and Imogene Horne.
Due to covid protocols, the family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Seawright Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
