Betty Jean Johnson, 86, of 916 Wesley Court in Boiling Springs, formerly of Littlefield Street in Inman, passed away Saturday, October 9th, 2021.
Betty was born in Spartanburg on February 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Nora Greer Williams and Fowl Williams and was the widow of Ralph Edward Johnson, who preceded her in death in 2009.
She retired after 43 years of service at Springs Industries and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman.
She is survived by three sons; Randy Johnson of Inman, Roger Johnson of Columbus, NC, Eddie Johnson and his wife Lynn of Inman, seven grandchildren; Brian Johnson, Paula Martin, Nic Johnson, Heather Fortenberry, Brandy Murray, Adam Johnson, Shannon Rodgers, eight great grandchildren; Kelsey Hauptman, Joey Holden, Dillon Johnson, Peyton Fortenberry, Bayleigh Murray, Karleigh Murray, Silas Avett Rodgers, Hunter Leigh Rodgers, and one great great grandchild, Landyn Hauptman.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman with Rev. Mark Bishop and Rev. Kenny McDowell officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. The family is at the home of Eddie Johnson at 351 Foster Road and will receive friends 2:00 until 3:00 Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Seawright Funeral Home.
The family expresses many thanks to the staff at Wesley Court who were so good to Betty and the family.
