Mrs. Betty Jean Henderson

Mrs. Betty Jean Edmonds Henderson, 74, of 200 Strange Ct. passed away peacefully to be with her Lord, leaving behind many loved ones on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Born in Spartanburg, SC on March 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Hicks and Emmie Edmonds was the wife of Everett Henderson. She was first married to the late James Gilbert.
Mrs. Henderson retired from Siemens Allis after 23 years of dedicated service and attended Green Point Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Everett, she is survived by three sons, Tony Gilbert and wife Amy, Reggie Henderson, and Daniel Henderson and wife April; four grandchildren, Christopher Gilbert, Josh Helms, Alannah Henderson and Justin Henderson; two nieces, Betty Jean and Ruby and two brothers. She was predeceased by two sisters.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 11,2010 from 5-7PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman at 2PM on Tuesday, October 12th, with Rev. Pete Threlkeld and Mr. Mark Hendricks officiating.
The family would like to give special thanks to a very helpful family friend, Mr. William Reydel.
