Mrs. Betty Lucille Green, 77, of 1205 Holly Springs Rd. Lyman, died Thursday, December 30th, 2010 at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care.
Mrs. Green was born in Campobello on January 27, 1933, the daughter of the late Willis and Cora Hammett Belcher. She was the wife of Marshall Mark Green of the home and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Joan Ensley and her husband Steve of Lyman, Vickie Green of Wellford, a special granddaughter, Macy Ensley of Lyman, four sisters, Ruth Burnett of Greer, Pauline High of Campobello, Frances Batson of Duncan, Juanita Johns of Inman, and three brothers, Furman Belcher, Boyd Belcher and Leroy Belcher all of Campobello.
The family is at the home of her daughter at 203 Green Road, Wellford and will receive friends Sunday 2:00-3:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church at 3:00 Sunday conducted by Rev. Steve Durham with burial to follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The Homemaker Sunday School Class will serve as honorary escorts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund 1600 Holly Springs Road Lyman, SC 29365.
