Betty Lucille Grigg Gibbs, 79, of 501 Hannon Road, Inman, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Betty was born in Landrum, on April 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Josephine Hutchins Grigg and Charlie Richard Grigg. She was the widow of Charles Gibbs and was first married to the late E.J. Gosnell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chesnee.
She is survied by two daughters; Darlene Jones (Derek) of Inman, Donna Garrett of Greenville, one son; Danny Gosnell of Inman, three sisters; Shirley Fisher and Louise Mills of Campobello, Tammy Bolliger of Blacksburg, four brothers; Donald Grigg, Richard Grigg, and Randy Grigg, all of Inman, Bobby Grigg of Campobello, six grandchildren; Isabella Jones, Amber Fortenberry, Haley Shropshier, Amanda Brookshire, Danny E.J. Gosnell, Joshua Gosnell, and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 21st at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 21st at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman with Dr. Tommy Turner officiating.
Private interment will be in Wood Memorial Park in Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
