Betty Jo Christie, 85, of 580 Rock Hill Church Road Inman, passed away Saturday, June 18th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Canton, N.C. on June 4, 1931, a daughter of the late Madge Pierce. She was the wife of James F. Christie of the home.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son; James A. Christie and his wife, Vanessa of Anderson, a sister; Alice Mae Warren of Inman, a granddaughter; Katie Christie of Wellford, a granddaughter; Bonnie Jo Snyder, four grandsons; Andrew Christie and wife Coire of Campobello, Jeremy Christie and wife Anna of Inman, Seth Christie of Edisto Beach, Adam Christie of Anderson, and a great granddaughter, Zoey Christie of Inman, a daughter in law; Donna Barajas and her husband Eli of Boiling Springs. She was also predeceased by a son, Wesley Christie.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at Inman First Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 21st, with Dr Paul Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
