 Betty Louise Owens Chapman, 81, of 403 Oak Grove Road, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at her residence. 

Betty was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 30, 1942, a daughter of the late Anna (Eubanks) Owens and Hiram Owens.

She was the widow of Marvin Cecil Chapman, was employed as the activity's director at Windsor House in Spartanburg and was of the Baptist faith.

Betty is survived by three sons Lewis Chapman, of Duncan, SC; Frank Bryant and wife Betty, of Spartanburg, SC; Ken Bryant and wife Carol, of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, James O Owens and wife Betty, of Enoree, SC, four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Una First Free Will Baptist Church Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev Frank Bryant, Rev. Wesley Campbell and Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
