Betty Dempsey Bayne, 81, of Greer, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum, SC.
Betty was born in Greer, SC on January 31, 1941, a daughter of the late Ruby (Burnett) Dempsey and Daniel Dean Dempsey.
Betty is survived by three brothers; Donald Dempsey, Marion Dempsey, Dennis Dempsey, and his wife Sue; one sister, Trish Murray. Other survivors include her nephew, Denny Dempsey and his wife Dana; nieces, Cindy Dempsey, Kim Brice and her husband Chris, and Stacey Shamis and her husband Brian; also three great nieces, McKellar Dempsey, Averi Brice, and Samantha Brice; and one great nephew, Parker Dempsey. She was predeceased by her two children; Renee Doggett, and Randy Bayne.
Betty was a member of Northwood Baptist Church and retired from Stone Manufacturing.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
