Bettie Mae Burrell Collins, 88, of 606 Woodland Ave, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, May 26th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Bettie Mae was born in Landrum, SC on June 24, 1923, was the widow of Elden "Pid" Warren Collins and retired from Inman Mills.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Susannah Bible Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Sawyer and husband Wayne of lnman; Linda Hunsinger of Wellford, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Robert Hunsinger.
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Rhonda Sawyer Glover (David) of Campobello, Terry Hunsinger (Kim) of Inman, Angie Sawyer Smith (Shane) of Inman, Traci Hunsinger Miller (Kenny) of Beaumont, Texas, 8 great grandchildren, Lyndsey Glover, Kyle Glover, Erika Tucker, Hailey Tucker, Sydney Tucker, Kylie Hunsinger, Katie Smith, and Sawyer Smith and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3 :00 PM on Tuesday, May 29th, with Rev Gary Byrd officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Greer, SC.
In addition to flowers memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 690 Park Rd Inman, SC 29349.
