Mrs. Bessie Pearson, 93, of 5 Culp Street Inman died Thursday, February 5th, 2009 at Inman Healthcare.

Mrs. Pearson was born in Spartanburg County on October 7, 1915, the daughter of the late William M. and Susie Miller Christopher. She was the widow of Nolan D. Pearson.
She was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church in Inman and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Frances Pike of Inman, Mary Goode of Gaffney, Arbutus Gregory of Inman, one brother, Charles Christopher of Greenwood, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Herman Pearson, a daughter, Lucille Bentley, a grand-daughter, a great grand-daughter, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

The family is at the home of her daughter Frances Pike at 747 Hickory Hollow Road, Inman and will receive friends Saturday 6-8:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Little Mountain. Baptist Church in Inman, at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 8th, conducted by Rev. Josh Phillips and Rev. Ansel Norris.

Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Spartanburg.
