Bertha Gertrude (Jackson) Wright, 92, formerly of Fingerville, SC, died Thursday, October 10th, at Magnolia Manor of Inman, SC. Mrs. Wright was born in Spartanburg County on January 7, 1921 and was the widow of Henry Lee Wright and the daughter of the late Noah and Martha Effie Ray Jackson.Her step mother was the late Geneva Jackson. She was formerly employed at Fingerville Mills and was of the baptist faith.
She is survived by two half brothers, Cecil Jackson and his wife Martha, Harold Jackson and his wife Gail , one half sister, Martha Gail Nelmes and her husband Junior and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Hughes, and two brothers, Dever & Eugene Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at Trilogy Christian Fellowship, 1307 Hwy. 292, Inman,SC 29349 at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th, with Rev. Joe Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sat. from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Hwy. 9, Boiling Springs, SC
