Bertha Inez Bishop McCraw, 91, of 70 Oak Street, Tryon, NC, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Tryon. Bertha was born in Spartanburg County, SC on September 15, 1922, a daughter of the late Eugene and Sena (Searcy) Bishop. She was the widow of Henry Andrew McCraw, retired from Raycord and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman. Bertha is survived by a daughter, Freddie Jones, of Inman, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Faye Harris. A graveside service will be held March 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev Mark Williams. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
