Bertha Louise Ward Branch, 88, of 485 Little Mtn. Rd., passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Branch was born in Williamston, SC on July 27, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Essie Bearden Ward. She was the widow of the late Marvin Junior Branch, Sr. and a member of Victory Baptist Church.She had retired from textiles and was a crochet artist and born again Child of God.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Branch, Jr. and his wife Naketta, Rev. Calvin Branch and his wife Ruth, a daughter, Judy Branch Hawkins, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great- great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Calvin Branch and Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating. The burial will follow in the Wellford Baptist Church Cemetery, Wellford, SC. The family is at the home. An online guest register is available on this website.
