Inman, SC---Mrs. Bertha Mae Ravan Blackwell, 86, of 1501 Hannon Road, Inman, SC passed away Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg, SC.

Mrs. Blackwell was born in Inman, SC on September 17, 1923, the daughter of the late Jimmy B and Nannie Sue (Raines) Ravan and was the widow of Homer Lee Blackwell.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Ethel Strange and Peggy Campbell, both of Inman, 1 brother: Gene Ravan of Marietta, GA. She was predeceased by 2 sisters: Pearl Clayton, Geneva Blackwell and 2 brothers: James and Billy Ravan.
She retired from Inman Mills, was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Winsome Sunday School Class who will serve as honorary escort.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday 6:00 - 8:00 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Holston Creek Baptist Church, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 6th, with Rev. Reggie Parker and Rev Donnan Lawson officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
