Bennie Lee Klein, Sr., 75, of 250 N. Lake Emory Dr., passed away Friday, June 6th, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Klein was born in Marble Hill, Missouri on November 21, 1938, and was a son of the late Elsie Isabel (Newell) and Harry Herman Klein. He was the loving husband of Barbara Jean (Farrow) Klein and was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church in Patton, Mo. He was the owner/operator of Klein & Son Nursery, Klein Enterprises & Triple B Underground. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ben Jr. "Butch" Klein and his wife Vickie of Inman, John Klein and his wife Anne of St. Louis, Mo, a sister Mildred Kiefer of Sedgewickville, Mo. and two grandchildren Harry & Samantha Klein. Mr. Klein was predeceased by one brother, Leslie Klein.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 9, 2014 from 5 until 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home, 26 E. Main St., Inman, SC 29349. Funeral services will be held at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Missouri. Interment will be Memorial Park Cemetery, Cape Giradeau, Mo.
