Bennie Raphael Fulbright

 Bennie Raphael Fulbright, 79, of 1291 Montveiw Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center. 

Bennie was born in Spartanburg on January 5, 1946, a son of the late Mavis Weaver Fulbright and Ben Vance Fulbright. He was the widower of Anita Martin Fulbright.

He retired from sales at Goodyear Tire Company, and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a daughter, Cher Tauscher and her husband, Paul, of Pace, Florida, his twin sister, Peggy Edwards and her husband Bernard of Tryon, North Carolina, four grandchildren, Benjamin Tauscher, Holland Tauscher, Rhodes Fulbright, and Cade Fulbright, and two special cousins that helped care for him so much, Sandra Tennyson and Jill Fulbright, both of Spartanburg.

 In addition to his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by a son, Bennie Martin Fulbright, and two brothers, Mack Fulbright and Wayne Fulbright.

Funeral Services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 6, with Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel.  Private burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
