Reverend Dr. Benjamin Killian of Landrum, SC, retired LTC. U.S. Army and hospital chaplain, died on September 28, 2018. Son of Benjamin F. and Ruby K. Killian (deceased) of Clyde, NC, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathryn Killian, a native of River Edge, N.J. ; two daughters, Virginia Stephenson of Clyde, Patience Scott of Canton, NC, two step-daughters, Virginia Cornish of Indian Land, SC and Laura Johnson of Pisgah Forest, NC; one brother, Bobby Killian of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Helene Price of Canton, NC and Sherry Gentry of Clyde, NC; Seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at First Baptist North Spartanburg on Saturday, October 13 at 11 am. A reception will follow. The Celebration will be led by Chaplain (Retired COL) Mike Dugal, of Honolulu, HI, assisted by Reverend Richard Bellflower, Fairview, NC.
