Ben L. Cromer

Mobile, Alabama---Ben L. Cromer, III, 44, of Mobile, AI. died Friday March 11, 2011. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of Ben L. Cromer, Jr. and Bruce Harley Cromer of 820 Shipwreck Place, Inman, S. C. 29349. He was the grandson of Mallie Groce Cromer and the late B. L. Cromer, Sr., the late Broadus F. Harley and Betty Tinsley Harley. Ben attended Spartanburg City Schools, USC Upstate and Wofford College. He was the Director of Development for The Wings of Life, a Christian non-profit, located in Mobile. He was a member of First Baptist North Mobile. Survivors include an aunt, Brenda Cromer Miller of Winnsboro, an uncle and aunt Newton and Carol Cromer of Mobile, an uncle and aunt Creswell and Sherry Harley of Boiling Springs and seven cousins.

A memorial service will be held in Mobile on March 17.

Visitation will be Sunday March 20th from 3 to 5 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
