Bartolo Amando "Tony" Mujica, 90, of Campobello, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Key West, Florida on August 24, 1927, a son of the late Lucia Maria (Garcia) and Miguel Angel Mujica and was the husband of Missouri Frances Lee Pope Mujica having celebrated nearly 41 years of marriage.
Tony was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, served in the United States Navy, United States Army and then retired from the United States Air Force. While in Florida he worked with GTE (General Telephone of Florida) in management and also as a communications instructor.
In addition to his loving wife of 41 years, he is also survived by nine children, son, Tony-Boy Mujica (Mary) of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Lucy Russo (Jerry) of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Robin Puckett (Paul) of Inman, South Carolina; daughter, Karen Holden of Inman, South Carolina, Lisa Zubeck (Brian) of Brandon, Florida, daughter, Donna Mujica of Campobello, South Carolina, son, Lazaro Mujica of Austin, Texas; daughter, Deborah Harrell of Sedona, Arizona; daughter, Karen Lazo of Yukon, Oklahoma along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #45 will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 2740 Bishop Road, Inman, SC 29349 with Pastor Billy Rice officiating.
