Thomas Barry Brooks of 340 Aunt Carrie Place, Wellford, SC, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Barry was born in Inman, S.C. a son of the late Palmer "P.B." and Alice (Dodd) Brooks. He was the husband of Ann (Melton) Brooks, was retired from Coca Cola and was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church. He had also served in the South Carolina National Guard. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Angie Fagan and husband Phillip, of Gastonia, NC; a son, Todd Brooks and wife Kathy, of Greenville, SC, 3 grandchildren, Grant Fagan, Ryan Fagan and Samantha Fagan. He was predeceased by a sister Ann Urquart. The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday following the service at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 8th, with Rev. Beth Haskins officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Inman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gibbs Cancer Center or Spartanburg Regional Heart Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
