Barbara Kay Pressley Paris, 60, of 150 Waynes Dr., Chesnee, SC, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Barbara was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 28, 1958, a daughter of the late Harold Elmore and Grace Ellen (Horne) Pressley. She was the wife of David Junior Paris, was employed at Meyco Products and was of the Pentacostal faith.
In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by four daughters, Ellen Nichole Parris, of Spartanburg; Angela Dawn Thornton (James Bishop), of Chesnee; Melissa Sue Jefferson (Marshall), of Spartanburg; Krystal Kay Cannon (Edward), of Roebuck; three sisters, Pat Poteat, Sue Wyatt, Sam Pressley, a brother, Billy Wayne Pressley, 12 grandchildren and 5 great, grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 7th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Mr Keith Starnes officiating. The family is at the home of her daughter, Krystal, 1191 Otts Shoals Road in Roebuck and will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barbara Paris Memorial Fund, PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
