Austin Bryant Thomas, 20, of 335 Ferndale Drive Boiling Springs, passed away Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 after an automobile accident.
Austin was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 24, 2001, a son of Lauren Dunn McKinnish, of Boiling Springs, S.C. and Michael Bryant Thomas, of Chesnee, S.C. His stepfather was Chris McKinnish of Boiling Springs and his stepmother was Crystal Jennings of Chesnee. Other survivors include; three sisters, Makayla Thomas of Boiling Springs, Layla Parris of Boiling Springs, Mattison Thomas (cousin) of Virginia, three step brothers; Jacob and Caleb McKinnish, both of Cowpens, Mathew Woods of Boiling Springs Paternal grandparents; Michael and Melinda Thomas of Chesnee, Maternal grandparents Debby and John Allen of Boiling Springs, Bobby and Jonnie McKinnish of Boiling Springs, Mae Dunn of Moore, Cathy and Ron Green of Simpsonville, Maternal Great grandfather, L.P. "Buddy" Hammond, aunts and uncles; Misty and Dwayne Seay, Jennifer and Barry Foy, Jason Dunn, Vanessa Dunn, Ashley Allen, Jennifer Sprouse, Sean Dunn, LeAnn and David Coleman, John and Stephanie Green, Jonathan and Kelly Henderson and Jennifer Henderson. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John S. Dunn; and great grandmother, Betty H. Hammond.
He attended Boiling Springs High School and was employed by Keys Innovative Solutions of RR Donnelly, Inc in Spartanburg.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8th at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman with Dr. David Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society 150 Dexter Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29303.
