Audrey Gail Greene, 65, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, died Friday, January 22, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness. Gail was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on August 29, 1950. She was a daughter of the late Carrol Rodgers and Blanche Hood Greene and was raised in the Gowensville Community.
Miss Greene was a graduate of Landrum High School and a former employee with Bigelow Sanford Carpet in Greenville for 25 years. She was later employed with Service Paint Center in Boiling Springs for 8 years. Gail was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.
Gail is survived by her step mother; Pat Greene of Columbus, NC; two brothers, Grady Greene and his wife, Vicky of Inman, SC and Ronnie Greene and his wife Susan of Gowensville, SC; a sister, Deborah Stevens and her fiance Bob of Spartanburg, SC; two step - sisters, Diane Flint and husband Bobby of Inman, SC, Juanita Parnell and husband Marvin of Campobello, SC; 16 nieces and nephews; 32 great nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Johnson, who passed last year.
Visitation will be held, Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, SC. A Celebration Of Life service will follow at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Seawright Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Bobby Lindsey and Rev. David Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
The families are at their respective homes.
