Arthur Charles "Art" Rillman, 73, of 180 Sandifer Road Spartanburg, passed away Thursday, July 25th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 18, 1940, a son of the late Elva Della Sullivan and Robert Rillman. He was the husband of Rita Burnette Rillman, and was first married to the late Sandy Rillman.
He worked as a machinist and was a member of Whitney Baptist Church. He had also served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James K. Rillman of Cumming, GA, Brian K. Rillman of Cowpens; a stepson, Joe Cash of Blacksburg; two step daughters, Cheryl Blackwell of Spartanburg, Kimberly Wiley of Roebuck; his grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, and Kerah Rillman, Amber Clayton, Cody Cash, Brandi and Ashley Wiley, Cierra Walling, and a step great grandson, Logan Clayton.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Sunday 1:00 until 2:00 at Whitney Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at Whitney Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 28th, with Rev. Eddie Hall officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
