Arthur "Lakey" Lakey

Inman, SC--Arthur "Lakey" Winston Lakey, 70, of 1731 Holly Springs Rd. passed away Thursday, March 29th, 2012.
Born in Nixon, Texas on September 14,1941, he was the son of the late William C. and Eddie Mae (Wright) Lakey and was the husband of Andrea Sellers Lakey having celebrated 7 years of marriage.
He served in the U.S. Army and was formerly employed at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic where he worked as a security guard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Glenna Lynn Corry (Stephen) of Atlanta, GA; a son, Arthur Lakey, Jr. of Gonzales, TX; a step-daughter, Kristi Hall (Eddie) of Inman, SC; a brother, Afton Lakey of Harper, TX; seven grandchildren, Myles McKee, Stephenna Corry, Jalix Corry, Heather Nassar, Matthew Lakey, Katy Rose Lakey and Brittany Leigh Lakey; two step-grandchildren, Emily and Ryan Hall; and two great grandchildren. One brother, William "Buster" Carroll Lakey, predeceased him.
The family will receive friends at the home all day on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
