Annie Laura Hawkins West

Annie Laura Hawkins West, 82, of Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on May 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Turner) Hawkins and Esley Marion Hawkins and was the wife of the late William Wayne West.

She retired from Southern Bell after 32 years and was a longtime member of Inman First Baptist Church where she faithfully served in many positions. She enjoyed volunteering with Spartanburg Regional Hospice for 22 years. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by four siblings, Flora Culbreth, Barbara Peck, David Hawkins and Gerald Hawkins. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Spartanburg Regional Hospice, PO Box 2624 Spartanburg, SC 29304 or Inman First Baptist Church, 14 North Howard Street, Inman, SC 29349. 

At her request, no services will be held.  Also, a very special thank you to the dedicated and wonderful caregivers and Agape Hospice.
